Lopez, Anthony get stylish

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthonylaunched their fashion lines — the Marc Anthony Collection and the Jennifer Lopez Collection — on Wednesday.

Anthony marked the launch with a ribbon cutting at Kohl's department store in downtown Jersey City, New Jersey, Lopez did not attend.

He says: "I always had Jennifer as a soundboard and vice versa. I'm really happy about her line and I saw all the work that she put into it."

The pair announced their split in July after seven years of marriage.

The couple has 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme. Anthony said he's "really proud of" 42-year-old Lopez.

Witherspoon hit by car

Actress Reese Witherspoonwas struck by a car while jogging near Los Angeles on Wednesday morning and suffered minor injuries.

Santa Monica police Sgt. Richard Lewis says the Oscar-winning actress was hit by a car driven by an 84-year-old woman.

Witherspoon, 35, was jogging in a crosswalk when the car struck her at about 20 mph. She was treated at a local hospital.

Lewis says the driver was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

Witherspoon's portrayal of June Carter in the 2005 film "Walk the Line" won her a best-actress Oscar.

Streep, Diamond get honors

Singer Neil Diamondand some of the biggest names from Broadway, jazz, classical music and Hollywoodwere chosen Wednesday to receive the Kennedy Center Honors this year for their contributions to American culture through the arts.

Broadway singer Barbara Cook, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, saxophonist Sonny Rollins and actress Meryl Streepare the other honorees.

President Barack Obamawill salute the artists and others will perform in their honor at a ceremony at the Kennedy Center on Dec. 4. CBS will broadcast the show Dec. 27.
