Mike Tindall has admitted that Princess Anne DID ask him to get a nose job before he married her daughter, Zara Phillips.
But the rugby star, 32, was unable to carry out the royal command and have surgery because he could not take time out from training.
He said: "It was a light-hearted, jokey comment. It wasn't a big deal.
"Look at my nose – can you blame her?"
The couple, who have dated since 2004, did not even have time for a honeymoon after their star-studded wedding ceremony in July.

He said in a Radio Times interview: "That's just the way it is in sport.
"We'll have plenty of time for going on honeymoons when we're both retired."
Yorkshireman Tindall will captain England when the Rugby World Cup kicks off next week and looks set to become England's most-capped centre – overtaking Will Carling's 72-cap record.
