Republican Bob Turner scored a stunning upset over Democrat David Weprin Tuesday in a special election Tuesday in New York's 9th Congressional District. Registered Democrats outnumber Republicans 3-1 in the district, which has been in Democratic hands for decades. Republicans said Turner's victory showed that President Obama is hemorrhaging support, even among Democrats – an ominous sign for his re-election campaign. Democrats downplayed the loss, pointing out that the party scored its own upset in upstate New York in May. What do you think? Does the loss reflect badly on Obama?
