Shannon Tweed finally put her foot down after being "unmarried" to KISS frontman Gene Simmons for almost three decades. And so, after a televised tiff on "The Joy Behar Show" and a brief break-up when Shannon moved out, the rock star and his former Playmate have reunited and are officially tying the knot.

The invitations have been mailed, and the date has been set. On October 1, 2011, rock royalty will descend on the Beverly Hills Hotel. The Simmons-Tweed kids, Nick and Sophie, who are throwing the party, have requested that guests arrive in "classy cocktail attire — although we know some rockstar attire will be worn."

There's no word yet on who is on the guest list, but chances are good that the music world will be well represented. Details on the nuptials are being closely guarded, so only time will tell how extravagant the affair will be.
