Fantasy Football Week 2: Projections, Rankings and Start Em Sit Em Advice on Astini News

Generally it's premature to sit a star after one mediocre performance.

In some cases, however, a player's Week 1 numbers are indicative of what to expect down the line.

Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis and Minnesota Vikings receiver Percy Harvin both had unspectacular games to open the 2011 campaign, but one of them will emerge while the other will disappoint in Week 2.

Here's your "Start 'Em, Sit 'Em" for the week.

Start 'Em: Peyton Hillis

In standard leagues, Peyton Hillis wasn't much of a factor in Week 1, rushing for just 57 yards on 17 carries and adding 30 receiving yards.

But against the shoddy rush defense of the Indianapolis Colts, expect Hillis to produce like he did last season, when he scored the fourth-most points among running backs in Yahoo! Sports leagues.

Last week, the Colts were given a gift from the Houston Texans: star running back Arian Foster was held out due to injury. The Colts proceeded to allow backup Ben Tate to rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown.

On top of this, the Colts are without star quarterback Peyton Manning, meaning their defense will likely be on the field more than usual.

Expect Hillis to have even better numbers than Tate in Week 2.

Sit 'Em: Percy Harvin

Percy Harvin is going to get his numbers when healthy. After Sidney Rice left for the Seattle Seahawks, Harvin's the No. 1 option for Vikings new quarterback Donovan McNabb.

But while McNabb won't be as bad as last season, he's clearly on the decline, and he backed that up by going 7-of-15 for 39 yards in Week 1 against the San Diego Chargers.

Harvin was one of many Vikings receivers who suffered as a result, catching just two balls for seven yards.

Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, matched up against a solid cornerback in Aqib Talib, don't expect much from Harvin in Week 2, either.
